Why Partner with NTC

NTC’s partners invest in research-proven models for change to disrupt systemic inequities for millions of students. Their vision for impact is rooted in empowering people: teachers, school leaders, and educators throughout the district. We’re excited to build a coalition that centers students and advances equity nationwide.

01

Investing in leaders and people who live equity

The philanthropic sector is looking to find solutions that emanate from communities most impacted by systemic inequities in education. And yet it’s extremely rare for any national educational nonprofit to be fully led by an executive team that looks like the communities it seeks to serve. Our leadership brings decades of experience in the work of student success, educator empowerment and equity.

02

Two decades of (proven) innovation

NTC has always built trusting coaching-based networks inside educational ecosystems to drive better outcomes. Now we’re taking that approach to the sector to assist educators in a time of change and opportunity. Through our collaborations, we’re revisioning and building programs that help teachers and underserved students connect more closely, growing direct adult learning models, and holding ourselves accountable to our national equity commission.

03

Transforming how teachers and leaders approach their work

NTC has over two decades of expertise in learning how adults learn. Our focus has always been on building trusting relationships between educators through deep coaching cultures to advance better teaching, including high-quality instruction and standards-aligned content. It’s the bridge to professional success for educators, capacity building in schools and districts, and better outcomes for students.

04

National reach to scale the best new ideas

NTC supports 25,000 teachers and over 8,000 coaches and school leaders, improving the learning of almost 2 million students across the country each year. When we work with visionary philanthropies and academic partners to research and develop new approaches, we can scale those innovations that pilot well rapidly into our professional learning models and content. We can move entire systems, and in ways that few other organizations can.
