NTC supported Bright Star, an urban charter network, to develop its own job-embedded, teacher-guided mentorship program to meet California induction accreditation requirements. Results were strong: 88% of participants reported that the program impacted their decision to begin or continue working with Bright Star.
Our partnership goal was to help design school community-specific support for new teachers with preliminary credentials to meet state induction requirements at no cost. NTC served as a thought partner in program development, providing high-quality, research-backed professional learning for mentors and tools to support teacher growth.
