David is a member of the Portfolio Group with Bain Capital Private Equity, enhancing operating performance for portfolio companies. Previously, he was a management consultant at McKinsey, focusing on growth strategies for consumer goods and worked with Latin American clients at Citibank.
Jim is a senior advisor at Emerson Collective, focusing on high school as a key change driver in education. With 30 years in ed-tech, he supports schools in curriculum and technology initiatives, previously leading Amplify's sales team through significant growth.
A distinguished professor and founding executive director of the Center for Equity for English Learners in the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University, Magaly has also served as president of Californians Together and California Association for Bilingual Education.
A partner at Bridgespan leading key initiatives in education transformation, Nithin previously served as the chief of staff at the School District of Philadelphia and portfolio management coordinator at Oakland Unified. He began his career as a high school math teacher and instructional coach.
Paul has worked at the intersection of education practice, policy and research. He served in the San Diego, Minneapolis and Chicago Public Schools and as superintendent of the Evanston K-8 district. He was Senior Vice President at the Spencer Foundation, Program Director on Child and Youth Development at the MacArthur Foundation, and Senior VP at CASEL. He currently directs the E4 Center at Northwestern.
Dr. Sharon L. Contreras is CEO of The Innovation Project, leading North Carolina superintendents in transforming education. As a former superintendent, she's known for closing achievement gaps, expanding CTE programs, and boosting graduation rates to 91.8%.
Shruti is a partner at New Profit, leading a collaborative of entrepreneurs and funders to integrate personalized learning into public education. She also serves on the boards of BUILD and Peace First.
Sujata Bhatt is the founder and CEO of Incubate Learning, with 20+ years of experience in strategy and design, focused on making formal learning more human and joyful. She also serves as Capstone Director for Penn GSE’s Education Entrepreneurship Program and was a Senior Fellow at Transcend.
