Our People and Culture team and hiring managers work together to review resumes and cover letters

Step 2

Video interview

Candidates are asked to answer a few questions and submit recorded answers via Spark Hire, offering a safe space to introduce themselves

Step 3

First round panel interview

Advancing candidates are invited to a video interview call with key staff who work closely with the open role

Step 4

Performance exercise

Candidates are invited to engage in a performance exercise — a maximum of 2 hours — to get a sense of their skills and approach

Step 5

Second round panel interview

Final candidates are invited to a second interview with additional NTC team members and leaders

Final Step

References check and offer

NTC staff follow up on listed references to hear final perspectives on candidates and then inform all candidates of the final decision

* NTC offers competitive salaries commensurate with experience in a similar position. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary range between the minimum and midpoint depending on experience and in alignment with internal equity.

The Associate, JNTP Program Operations will report to the Executive Director, JNTP, and will be responsible for supporting critical aspects of JNTP’s operations and program execution. This includes organizing professional development events, assisting with recruitment, managing registration and contracts, conducting development activities, assessing impact, and providing administrative support to the senior leadership of JNTP.

NTC offers medical insurance — with 90% employer-paid premium — through a Blue Shield PPO plan. Staff in California have access to a Blue Shield HMO or Kaiser HMO plan.

NTC offers a 100% employer-paid PPO dental insurance plan through Lincoln, providing coverage for routine cleanings, preventive procedures, and more.

Vision insurance

NTC offers a 100% employer-paid vision plan through VSP that provides benefits for routine care eye exams, eyeglass lenses, frames, and contact lenses. 

Life insurance

Plans are offered to staff for $50K or $350K life insurance policies during a staff member’s employment.

Paid time off

NTC offers a generous 35 holidays including a two-week closure in summer and end of year, plus accrued vacation.

Parental leave

Each staff member is eligible for 12 weeks paid parental leave when welcoming a new family member through birth or adoption.

Retirement savings plan

NTC has a 401(k)retirement savings plan with an employer-matching contribution of up to 3% of an employee’s base salary or a Roth savings option.

Professional development

NTC offers $2,000 annually toward career development training that enhances the skills necessary to successfully perform, grow, and expand employee expertise.

Remote work

NTC offers a flexible work environment through a remote-distributed office, enabling staff to work from home for better work-life balance.

Home office reimbursement

Staff receive up to $120 per month reimbursement for cell phone and Internet provider services.

Wellness stipend

NTC offers $100 per month to use toward well-being initiatives essential for health, ranging from gym memberships to fitness equipment to therapeutic massage.

Employee assistance (EAP)

Each NTC staff person has access to our EAP, assisting them and eligible dependents with emotional well-being, legal and financial concerns, and more.
