New Teacher Center has a portfolio of school leadership solutions that supports school leaders to become strong instructional leaders and key drivers of overall teacher development, school transformation, and systems change. By developing school-based models of teacher development, we leverage the work of school leaders and their instructional leadership teams to impact broader change across the district.

We focus on positioning school leaders to provide ongoing, consistent learning opportunities for teachers in the areas of rigorous standards, social and emotional learning, and data driven instruction, working closely with instructional coaches and mentors to ensure alignment and integration.

TELL SURVEY
CUSTOMIZED CONSULTATION AND TRAINING
WHERE WE IMPLEMENT

New Teacher Center’s TELL Initiative helps state and district leaders gather, document, and analyze educator perceptions of teaching and learning conditions in schools and districts. NTC then guides school leaders in using the results to plan improvements that include professional development for teachers and school leaders.

The Teaching and Learning Conditions (TLC) survey is an opportunity for smaller districts (25 schools or less) and district partners to gather data directly from their educators on one or more of the TELL constructs of interest to their unique environment.
