Program Evaluation

NTC researchers conduct internal evaluations of NTC projects and contract with other institutions to evaluate programs. Staff members may work with districts to design and conduct evaluations appropriate to their interests and data capacity. Generally, these evaluations assess program effectiveness with regard to changes in teacher retention, instructional practice, or student achievement. Programs may also be evaluated in terms of costs and benefits. Researchers present oral as well as written reports.
